RHS Collections
apple & plum collection
Growing fruit in the home garden or allotment is wonderfully rewarding, especially come harvest time, when you can really enjoy the fruits of your labours. The two trees in this collection are self fertile, so will produce a crop without the need of a pollination partner nearby. They will be delivered November onwards.
In this collection you will receive one of each of the following varieties.
apple 'Cox's Orange Pippin':Fan-trained maiden trees, which are ideal for growing against a sunny wall, produce white spring flowers and juicy dessert apples ready to harvest in October. Cox's Orange Pippin is partially self fertile but for a bumper crop grow with another apple from Flowering Group 3. Grows to 3m but can be limited by pruning. Supplied as a bare root plant on M26 Rootstock.
plum 'Victoria':White flowers in spring are followed by pale red-skinned fruits, which have a delicious, golden flesh. This self-fertile, maiden plum tree has been trained into a fan, so can easily be grown against a sunny wall. Grows to 4m but can be limited by pruning. Supplied as a bare root plant on St. Julian A Rootstock.
