Hellebores remain one of the brightest stars in the late winter and spring garden. Their large saucer-shaped flowers, which come in a wide range of colours, add much needed colour at a time where many other plants are still in their winter dormancy.

Helleborus × hybridus 'Harvington double pink speckled':Add colour to the late winter garden with these nodding, double flowers. The petals are rich pink, each with a scattering of prominent maroon spots towards their base. Grows to 40cm

Helleborus × hybridus 'Harvington double red':Reddish-pink petals form bowl-shaped flowers in late winter, each with a prominent boss of golden stamens. Mix with spring flowering bulbs beneath deciduous plants. Grows to 40cm
