  • Position: full sun or partial shade
  • Soil: moist, well-drained, moderately fertile, humus-rich soil
  • Rate of growth: fast-growing

  • Flower colour: white, turning pink and then raspberry
  • Hardiness: fully hardy

    Luminous white flowers emerge in open, pyramidal panicles at the ends of the branches in late summer and gradually turn pink as they develop, so that by mid autumn they have become a rich raspberry with russet and red undertones. A recent introduction from French breeders.

  • Garden care:To enhance flowering prune hard in early spring, cutting back the previous season's shoots to within a few buds of the permanent, woody framework of the plant.
