Agastache 'Blue Fortune'
Mexican giant hyssop
- Position: full sun
- Soil: well-drained, fertile soil
- Rate of growth: average
- Flowering period: July to October
- Hardiness: hardy (borderline)
Two-lipped, lavender-blue flowers form in whorls around the short, upright spike from midsummer to early autumn. These are very attractive to beneficial insects including bees, and if left on the plant will remain interesting well into winter. - Garden care: Don't cut back the faded flower-stems in until early spring, as they provide interest in the winter months. Lift and divide congested colonies in spring.
