This summer-flowering clematis produces a mass of beautiful, green-eyed lilac-blue flowers from midsummer to mid-autumn. The plant is pruned back each spring, so it is easily grown through shrubs and trees as the it never becomes too heavy for the supporting plant. A compact and easy-to-grow cultivar, it is ideal for a smaller garden and also makes a fine specimen in a large pot. - Garden care: Remove dead and damaged stems before growth begins in early spring, cutting all remaining stems back to where strong buds are visible. Apply a slow-release balanced fertiliser and a mulch of of well-rotted garden compost around the base of the plant in early spring.
