Freesias are much-loved additions to the cutting or cottage garden, but they also grow quite well in pots. This contains everything you will need (including instructions) to grow these delightful flowers on your windowsill.

  • Indoor growing instructions: Plant bulbs from March onwards. Empty two thirds of the compost into the pot, place the bulbs with the nose upright and cover with the remaining compost. Water sparingly so compost is moist (be careful not to overwater). Keep the compost moist at all times and place the pot in a light position (18-20°C). Bulbs will flower approximately 12-16 weeks from planting dependent on growing conditions. Once in flower, move to a cool bright spot to prolong life. Turn occasionally as the flowers will grow towards the light.
  • Humans/Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
