This compact hardy geranium is smothered in a mass of light blue flowers, with contrasting, sporty, dark blue veins, from June to July. Only recently introduced, it's an excellent and unusual groundcover plant for the front of a border. Copes well in full sun or partial shade.

  • Garden care: In midsummer rejuvenate plants that are beginning to look jaded, by removing old flowered stems and leaves. Lift and divide large colonies in spring.
