    A perennial vine usually grown as an annual, with heart shaped leaves and unique, pendant flowers. Grow outdoors in a sunny location, also suitable for a conservatory.
    Winner of an Royal Horticultural Society, Award of Garden Merit for reliability and good performance.

  • Garden care: Sow thinly in trays of seed compost, cover lightly with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20C. Germination may be slow and erratic. Seedlings appear 14-42 days. Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant to individual 7.5cm pots. Stand outside for a few days late May (avoid frosts). Transplant 60cm apart in flowering position. Plants should be trained up support as they develop. Keep moist and weed free especially in containers. Trim back and overwinter outdoor plants indoors or in a greenhouse.
