Small to medium sized, lightly ridged courgettes from Rome. The bushes produces a large number good quality fruits with a nutty flavour and are highly recommended. The flowers can be eaten too - but make sure you remove the pistols first. Try them dipped in batter and then fried. - Growing Instructions
Sow indoors - Feb to May for earlier crops and plant out April to August
Sow outside - March to July when the air temperature is above 18°C
Sow 2cm deep - it is important to lay the seed vertically as if it is laid flat it may rot before germinating
Liquid feed once a week with a dilute tomato feed once cutting has started.
