A classic Romaine lettuce introduced before 1892 in Italy. It has a crunchy rib and upright, green head. It is especially good for making Caesar salads and is ideal for growing two crops a year if required. - Growing Instructions:
Sow inside - February to May and/or July to August and plant out March to June and/or August to September
Sow outside - February to May and/or July to August when the air temperature is above 5°C
Sow 0.5cm deep
Thin plants to 20cm apart April to June and/or August to October
Harvest - May to July and/or September to November
