A smaller variety of broad bean, growing to about 45cm, ideal for container growing or for smaller gardens. The sturdy plants mature early and produce consistently high yields of short, well-filled pods with white beans and an excellent flavour. Pick beans young when they are at their most tender to catch them at their best.
Growing Instructions:Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil and sow seeds individually in early spring direct where they are to grow, 5cm deep and 10cm apart. Protect from mice and slugs. Support loosely with canes and string once they reach 15cm tall and pinch out the tops once pods have set to prevent blackfly.
