This is Lilas selection of vegetables which she particularly likes eating.
Suitable for filling a well prepared vegetable patch aproximately 8m².The collection will be made up from the following -
- 5 x yellow climbing bean 'Goldfield' - a delicious and decorative bean, with bright yellow stringless pods that produce their first crop early in the season and continue throughout summer.
- 5 x purple climbing beans 'Cosse Violetta' - a strong growing purple podded type, with a good flavour. The pods may grow to 26cm long and can be harvested over many weeks.
- 3 x courgettes 'Parador' - an exceptionaly heavy cropper Parador produces shiny yellow cylindrical fruits with excellent taste, texture and quality.
- 10 x sweet corn 'Party Fun' - an early season variety producing large and very sweet cobs in late summer and early autumn.
- 8 x broad beans 'Imperial Green Longpod' - this variety produces plenty of long stemmed pods with 5-8 delicious green beans in each.
- 3 x butternut squash 'Hunter' - a healthy yield butternut squash perfectly suited for growing in the UK. Ideal roasted, mashed, curried or in a soup.
- 5 x purple sprouting broccoli 'Red Early' - a unique variety that doesn't need winter weather to trigger flowering. It produces suculent stems through the summer months.
- 10 x radicchio 'Treviso' - an Italian favourite and a member of the chicory family. It has a spicy taste and is often used to add colour and zest to salads.
Please note: The contents of this pack may vary slightly depending upon the season. - Garden care: Plant them out as soon as they arrive in a sunny spot. Make sure they are kept well watered and feed with a liquid fertiliser that is high in potash throughout the growing season. You may need to provide growing supports for the taller plants.
