The simple, clean lines and elegant proportions of this refectory set, makes it very easy to place in a variety of settings around the home and garden. It is made from FSC roble, aka Spanish oak (Amburana cearensis), which is a fine-grained hardwood, that shares many of the finer qualities of teak. It will age to an attractive silver if left untreated, but unlike teak, will resist splitting and cracking over time. It has a deliciously soft texture that makes it incredibly tactile, especially as every piece has been finished to a very high standard by a team of local craftsmen. The timber used is farmed in natural forests, in such a way that the biological diversity of the area is maintained and the local community is supported. This is a beautiful set, containing one table and two benches, that is as enduring as it is practical.
This set comes as an easy to assemble flat pack with all the tools you need to put it together.
