  A tall and elegant burnet, with white, nodding flowerheads, that open from the top downwards. These seem to gracefully sway above the clumps of decorative foliage from mid-summer to early autumn. The lacy green foliage has distinctive, slender leaflets that are notched at the edges, and these often take on colourful tints in autumn.
