Originating from the forests of Eastern Asia, this exotic-looking member of the ginger family will help create a tropical feel in the home or conservatory. Its large, irregularly streaked leaves add colour as well as impact as they unfurl, and as the plant matures, it may also produce a spray of soft pink flowers.
Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery pot). They do however make excellent potted plants, and if you wish to pot yours up, we do have a wide range of pots on our website to choose from. - Home care: Place in a spot with bright but indirect light and keep well watered during the growing season. It loves high humidity, so if possible place it in a steamy room (like a bathroom), mist it with water regularly or sit the pot on a tray of moist pebbles.
