These two triumph tulips make perfect partners and will look great dotted through the border, or planted in quantity in more formal bedding schemes. Their stems are relatively long too, which makes them good for cutting.

In each collection you will receive the following:

    10 × Tulipa 'Blue Beauty'
Rose-violet petals with a blue satin sheen and a violet-blue inner, form exquisite flowers that top the stout upright stems. Tall and elegant, it is one of the best for cutting as it lasts well in a vase, and it mixes well with a wide range of colours in the border. Try it next to the chartreuse green of a euphorbia, the soft pink of a montana clematis or in front of a dark purple-leaved backdrop. Grows to 50cm tall.

    10 × Tulipa 'Flaming Flag'
The exact colour of these stunning tulips will vary as the white and purplish-pink streaks that run through each petal can vary in intensity. Some can be distinctly two-tone, like dollops of plum jam folded through whipped cream, while others will have a more muted colouring. An interesting (and rare) tulip that copes with bad weather and lasts well after being cut. Grows to 45cm tall.

  • Garden care: In September to December plant bulbs 15-20cm deep and 10-15cm apart in fertile, well-drained soil. Alternatively, allow 7-9 bulbs per 30cm sq. After flowering deadhead and apply a balanced liquid fertiliser each week for the first month. Once the foliage has died down naturally lift the bulbs and store in a cool greenhouse.
  • Harmful if eaten/may cause skin allergy
