  • Position: full sun
  • Soil: fertile, well-drained soil
  • Flowering period: March to May
  • Hardiness: fully hardy

In each collection you will receive the following:

    10 × Tulipa 'Asahi'
Classic egg-shaped blooms open to form generous cups of colour, with hints of red, magenta, orange and yellow all blended into one. This means it can be used to partner solid blocks of any of those shades, but it will also look stunning with richer purples and near black - or even with its polar opposite on the colour wheel, blue. Grows to 50cm tall.

    10 × Tulipa 'Orange Cassini'
Classically formed flowers are made up of vibrant orange petals, each with a paler orange flush. Topping tall stems, which stand up well to poor weather conditions, they look spectacular when teamed with strong purples and plum - or for a more tonal colourway, pair with golden yellows or burgundy-reds. Grows to 40cm tall.

    10 × Tulipa 'Lambada'
With its rich blend of orange, apricot and yellow tones, this tulip really is a cracker - but what makes it even more interesting is the fine fringed edge to each of the petals. Topping tall stems in mid- to late spring, it will bring colour as well as textural interest to borders and pots, and it will team with a whole host of shades including reds, yellows, purples and plum. Grows to 45cm tall.

  • Garden care: From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
  • Harmful if eaten/may cause skin allergy
