'Femspot' is an early and reliable all-female variety for ideally indoor growing, producing good crops of dark green-skinned, 20cm (8in) cucumbers with crisp white flesh. Perfect for summer salads, this tasty cucurbit has good resistance to powdery mildew and scab. - Care instructions: Can be grown in a heated greenhouse or, after all threat of frost has passed, harden off carefully and plant into the final growing site allowing 60cm between plants. Protect young plants against slugs. Don't plant too deep, as this encourages stem rot: the top of the rootball should sit at the same level as the surface of the soil.
