This perennial dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring.

  A double row of neon pink petals, shading to dark red bases, with an open, yellow centre describe the beautiful blooms of ‘Dreamy Nights’. Rising on sturdy stems above shiny, dark bronze foliage, the flowers are ‘self-cleaning’ and will drop away removing the need to regularly deadhead from summer till the first frosts. A compact variety, excellent for pots and containers, the cut flowers are stunning and long-lasting in a vase, too.
  
  
• Garden care: Provide a high-nitrogen liquid feed each week in June, then a high-potash fertiliser each week from July to September. Once the first frosts of autumn have blackened the foliage, carefully lift and clean the tubers and allow them to dry naturally indoors. (don't forget to label them!). Place the dry tubers in a shallow tray, just covered with slightly moist potting compost, sand or vermiculite. Store in a frost-free place, checking frequently over the winter months.
