Ever-popular alliums come in a diverse range of shapes and sizes. In this collection we have brought together two very pretty forms, both of them simple, elegant and equally suited to pots or a sunny border.
In each collection you will receive the following:
- 25 × Allium roseum: A variable plant, which produces very pretty, open clusters of pale to rich pink flowers above the strap-shaped foliage. Flowering in late spring or early summer, it is useful for bridging the gap, creating pockets of colour when there is often a bit of a lull in the garden. Plant it into patio pots, or create drifts through the front of the border where it will slowly spread to form good-sized colonies. Grows to 65cm.
- 20 × Allium neapolitanum Cowanii Group: Open clusters of pure white flowers appear in late spring or early summer, creating a soft, lacy effect. The flowers last for ages after being cut and the bees will find them very attractive, so try to plant them in large numbers. In smaller gardens, they look great in pots where they can sit on a sunny patio.
