Beautiful white and green tones peppered by clotted cream blooms typify this gorgeous, calming tulip collection, featuring three remarkable colourful and long-lasting varieties each with a contrasting or double petal form. A combination of elegance that will have your borders and floral displays live long in the memory.

In each collection you will receive the following:

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Spring Green': An elegant tulip with broad, white, slightly feathered petals, each with a bright green central band. Perfect for a sunny, well-drained border where it will brighten up a spring day or for planting in pots on the patio. It looks particularly lovely teamed with silver-foliaged plants or with other tulips, especially the dark plum-coloured varieties like 'Black Hero'.Grows to 40cm tall.

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Françoise': Initially the flowers open from bud a pale buttery yellow, but as the large, classically shaped flowers open fully, they take on the same colouring as clotted cream. Then, as the season progresses, their colour fades again to a soft creamy white, with just a hint of lemon. This transition of colour means that they are ideal for blending with both solid yellows and white. Grows to 60cm tall.

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Mount Tacoma': A very old variety that has deservedly remained a firm favourite through the years. The buds are pink and green, but the long-lasting double flowers open to a creamy white. The flowers are quite tough and are held aloft on sturdy stems late in the season. In the photos above we have paired it with Tulipa Angelique. Grows to 45cm tall.

  • Garden care: From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
    • Humans: Harmful if eaten; skin allergen; Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
