Lavandula angustifolia BeeZee Light Blue ('Kerbeelight') (PBR)
lavender
- Position: full sun
- Soil: moderately fertile, well-drained soil
- Rate of growth: average
- Flowering period: July to September
- Hardiness: fully hardy
Hardy, compact and free flowering over a long period, 'Beezee Light Blue' has stunning, large, lilac and lavender spectrum, fragrant flower spikes with pale throats above slender, aromatic, silvery-grey leaves. Great for edging paths and borders, culinary use, and perfect for a neat, colourful and highly scented low border hedge to keep the butterflies and bees happy - this lavender also works well in a gravel garden. - Garden care: Cut back the stalks after the flowers have faded. Carefully trim back in April, taking care not to cut into old wood.
