A fairly recent introduction, this wonderful daff has already been awarded the AGM by the Royal Horticultural Society - and not just because it is named after one of their gardens. The judging panel found that the flowers had a good colour, stood up well in bad weather and as it produced lots of flowers well above the foliage, it put on a brilliant show. A relatively early bloomer, it is suiatble for the border, for pots, or for naturalising in the lawn.

  • Garden care: Plant 10-15cm (4-6in) deep from late summer to early autumn. After flowering feed with a balanced fertiliser, dead-head and allow the leaves to die back naturally.
  • Harmful if eaten/skin irritant
