A popular indoor plant since Victorian times, ‘Tiger Fern' is a variegated Boston fern with streaks of chartreuse to yellow on the upright grassy-green fronds that gently arch with age. They are elegant plants and look great in steamy, humid bathrooms. - Home care: Keep the compost moist (but not waterlogged) at all times, but this can be cut back a little in winter, and place in a bright spot away from direct sunlight. These ferns love a humid atmosphere, so mist the leaves regularly with water. Maintain temperatures above 10°C in winter and avoid summer temperatures above 25°C. Repot in spring when the plant becomes root-bound.
Please note that all our indoor hanging pots include drainage holes to prevent waterlogging. We recommend taking them down to water in the sink or on a saucer, and leaving them to drain before rehanging.
