In each collection you will receive the following:

    10 × Tulipa 'Esprit'
This eye-catching tulip is going to add a bit of pizzazz to your borders in spring. Its flowers are made up of lots of gently ruffled petals, which are a lush mix of pink, orange, yellow and green, and each petal has a heavily fringed edge. It's a good idea to grow a few extra of these, so you have some that can be cut for the vase. Grows to 60cm.

    10 × Tulipa 'Dordogne'
This impressive tulip has larger than average flowers, so forms great goblets of fiery colour on top of its tall stems. A lush mix of orange and pink, with hints of yellow, they make an eye-catching addition to the border, where they will look sublime with bold purples, strong pinks or even yellow. Grows to 65cm.

    10 × Tulipa 'Paul Scherer'
Tulip breeders have been trying for years to create a variety that produces a near-black flower on a tall stem - and here it is! The blooms are large, oval, almost egg-shaped, and sit on top of a sturdy stem in late spring. Plant in bold drifts for big impact, or tone it down with silvers and pinks. This variety has been granted the prestigious Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society. Grows to 50cm.

  • Garden care: From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
  • Harmful if eaten/may cause skin allergy
