It also looks great when used to soften the edges of a pond, where it will quickly form a low, spreading carpet of softly hairy, grey-green foliage, which from late spring to midsummer is topped with yellow flowers. - Garden care: Trim back after flowering, and lift and divide overly large clumps in late spring.
