This award-winning, fuchsia-flowered currant is perfect for training into a fan-shape against a sunny fence or wall. Often semi-evergreen in mild areas of the country, it tolerates a range of soil conditions, including extremely dry and waterlogged.
  • Garden care: In August cut back the flowered shoots to within 2-4 buds of the permanent framework of the plant. After pruning apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted garden compost around the base of the plant
