This plant is deciduous so it will lose all its leaves in autumn, then fresh new foliage appears again each spring.

  • Position: full sun or partial shade
  • Soil: prefers moist but well-drained, acidic soil or ericaceous compost in a pot.
  • Rate of growth: average
  • Hardiness: fully hardy

This new blueberry is unusual in that it produces its generous crop of delicious berries continuously from midsummer to mid-autumn. This helps extend the blueberry season, and makes it possible to harvest blueberries over a couple of months from just one plant. Also, as the plant is compact, it's ideal for larger pots, so it can be squeezed into even the smallest gardens.

  • Garden care: Prepare the ground well before planting. Prune in winter, cutting out dead or damaged branches. In spring, feed with sulphate of ammonia, sulphate of potash and bonemeal and top-dress with ericaceous compost.
