A hard-working, productive sweet pepper, ‘Bell Boy’ produces generous crops of square-ended fruits with thick, juicy flesh and has a mild, sweet flavour. Eat them while they're still green, or leave them on the plant to ripen to a scarlet red.

  • Growing instructions: Peppers need a long growing season in a greenhouse to ripen properly, though they will form green peppers in containers on a sunny patio. Plant out into containers or in the greenhouse borders. Support with canes and feed fortnightly once flowers appear. Once plants reach about 30cm tall, pinch out the growing tips to increase branching so you get more fruit.
