For those that prefer their May-time flowering displays in shades of deep burgundy red, gilded crimson, and chocolate flamed vermillion, look no further. A stunning and vibrant assortment of tulips that are sure to draw attention to themselves in patio pots, borders and interior displays.

In each collection you will receive the following:

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Kingsblood':Red is a very eye-catching colour in the garden, and this one, with its cherry red flowers, is a real head-turner! It makes a wonderful addition to hot-themed borders, but will also add spark when paired with near-black tulips. Grows to 60cm.

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Gavota': The colouring of this tulip is really unusual - with a chocolate-red streak running down the length of each pointed petal, surrounded by a chunky yellow border. That makes them easy to mix - and very useful for tying together yellows and solid reds. Grows to 50cm.

  • 10 × Tulipa 'National Velvet': Deep burgundy red, velvety blooms that seem to glow like burning coals in the morning sun, sit on top of tall, sturdy stems late in the season. Their rich colouring blends well with deep purples and near blacks, or liven them up with oranges and reds. Grows to 50cm.

  • Garden care: From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
    • Humans: Harmful if eaten; skin allergen; Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
