The beauty of these plants (apart from the pretty bi-coloured flowers) is their branching habit, which means that they cover the ground really well without stretching. This enables them to produce more flowers, so they put on a great display off and on throughout autumn, winter and spring.

How to care for Viola Sorbet F1 Yellow Blue Jump Up (Sorbet Series):
When you receive your seedlings, pot them up and grow them on for a few weeks in a frost-free location. Then, gradually harden them off before planting out in compost or well-drained, humus-rich soil that is not frozen or prone to waterlogging. Protect young plants from slug damage using environmentally friendly slug pellets or beer traps. Pinching out the growing tips will encourage them to become bushier, and feeding with a high-potash fertiliser at regular intervals throughout the summer will promote even more flowers to form.
