In 2021 around 2.3 million cubic metres of peat was sold for home garden use in the UK, according to surveys, and that only represents 35% of the market.
But compost doesn’t need replacing every year - the bulk of the material, though it breaks down eventually, lasts for several years. NPK and other nutrients will be used up by growing plants and veggies, but that doesn't have to mean the end of the road for the depleted compost.
This nutrient-rich rejuvenator contains a special recipe of organic and natural additives mixed with Biochar. Blended into old compost, it replenishes the nutrient content ready to use all over again. Revitalized compost can be used to grow resilient and productive fruit, flowers, and veggies.
