We’ve left the copper surface untreated so it can age in a completely natural way in its raw state, achieving truly authentic earthy hues and tones.
This ‘living’ finish is impossible to achieve under any other method or surface application. It also allows for the surface to be restored to a brushed finish if required using a little elbow grease and the scouring pad provided.
The ageing process does require some time to develop, so in the first instance it may appear blotchy, but this will only improve with age.
Please note: when pushing into the ground, place your foot on the ‘dog’s leg’ to drive the stake into the ground while holding it securely upright. If the ground is dry and hard, water it well to soften first to avoid damage.
