Tipping pail water feature
A charming way to bring movement and life to the garden, this solar-powered tipping pail fountain is completely self-contained - no wires or plumbing needed.
Stand it anywhere in direct sunlight and the two solar panels will power the low-voltage pump, which circulates water up from the bowl reservoir, through the tap and back into the bowl.

Taking care of your water feature
Keep water topped up in the warmer months, but fully drain in the winter months to protect against frost damage. Adding a couple of capfuls of water treatment every few weeks will help prevent algae build up.
Clean regularly with a soft cloth and soapy water. Limescale on the solar panels can be removed with lemon juice. If you live in a hard water area, we would suggest filling the feature with collected rainwater or previously boiled water.
