  • Rate of growth: average
  • Hardiness: fully hardy

‘Sweet Sunshine’ is a breeding marvel, an extremely heavy cropping, compact, raspberry with deliciously plump and juicy fruits formed on short, thornless canes from June to August. Suitable for growing in large pots and perfect for petite growing spaces, you’d be a raspberry fool to miss out on this one!

  • Garden care: When planting, incorporate some well-rotted organic matter (compost or manure) into the planting hole plus a scoop of mycorrhizal fungi to aid root establishment. Once established, 'Sweet Sunshine’ will produce fruit on the previous year’s stems, so cut down any raspberry canes that have already fruited in November - leaving the remaining canes to fruit during the coming growing season. Any shoots that develop during the new season will produce fruit in the following year.
