This bulb dies back after flowering each year and enters a period of rest ahead of regrowth the following season.

• 10 × Tulipa 'Attila': The flowers of this stunning tulip are initially a rich violet-purple, but as they age and the petals open, they take on red and pink tones. Like other Triumph tulips, it has sturdy stems that tend to hold up well in poor weather conditions, and it is also excellent for cutting. Grows to 50cm.
  
  
• 10 × Tulipa 'Elegant Lady': A champagne glass-fluted tulip with pointed, pale yellow petals and tinted tips of pale violet. ‘Elegant Lady’ produces wonderfully complementary blooms held on sturdy stems from mid to late spring for the border and the cutting vase. Grows to 45cm.
  
  
• 10 × Tulipa 'Groenland': Semi-fluted green-flushed pink flowers top stout, upright stems in late spring, creating a very pretty contrast to both paler and stronger pinks, and offering a pleasant harmony to lush greens. As the flowers last so well after being cut, they are popular with florists and make handsome additions to the vase. Grows to 45cm.
  
  
• 10 × Tulipa 'Rems Favourite': If you like bicoloured flowers then you will love this beautiful triumph tulip. They have large, open ivory white cup-shaped petals with beetroot purple flaming from the base in mid-April. Triumph tulips are favoured for their traditionally shaped flowers and sturdy stems, which allow them to cope with bad weather. They also make excellent cut flowers. Grows to 60cm.



• Garden care:
  From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
