Tall, purple-flushed, leafy stems, which rarely need supporting, are topped with large dome-shaped clusters of small pinkish-mauve flowers from late summer to mid autumn. Wonderful for adding height at the back of the border. - Garden care: Cut back and compost the stems after flowering. Renmove unwanted seedlings as they appear.
