What are the delivery charges?
Deliveries are charged per order as follows:
- £1 for seed only orders to all UK addresses
- £2.95 for bulb only orders to all UK addresses
- £4.95 for plants and anything else delivered to GB mainland addresses, deliveries to Northern Ireland, all UK islands and Scottish Highlands will incur a surcharge of £5.
We aim to ship all item listed as 'In stock' within 3-5 working days (exc. weekends and public holidays).
What happens when I place an order?
Once an order has been placed on the website, you will receive an email explaining:
- What you have ordered
- How much you have paid
- Where have you have asked for it to be delivered, together with any delivery instructions
- Any gift message that you may have asked for
What areas do you deliver to?
We now deliver to all UK mainland addresses. Please note that deliveries to Northern Ireland, all UK islands and Scottish Highlands will incur a surcharge of £5 (unless seed or bulb only orders).
Exceptions & restrictions
All delivery options are subject to availability and working days exclude public holidays. We're sorry, but we don't deliver to BFPO addresses.
Can I return the goods?
You can return anything you're not happy with within 28 days of receiving it provided you have contacted us within 7 days of receipt to advise of its return. Returns should not be used and must be in a resalable condition. The only exceptions to this are Christmas Trees. We will not pay the costs of returning an item to us. Until we receive the goods you are returning, they are your responsibility. For your protection and peace of mind, we recommend you use a recorded delivery service to return things.
To get a full refund, simply return the item to us in its original condition, in its original packaging within 28 days of cancellation. If the item has been damaged, used or is not returned in its original packaging, we reserve the right to withhold a percentage of the refund value if the item needs to be reduced in price for resale.
Are the plants guaranteed?
Yes. All fully hardy plants (all hardy shrubs, trees and perennials) are guaranteed for a period of 5 years from purchase, and other plants for their first flowering season, provided all instructions are followed. If the plant fails in the first 2 years, please send us a picture of the plant along with your order reference number to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once we have determined the cause of the problem we will endeavor to replace it or refund you. This guarantee does not include any plants damaged due to lack of watering or lack of proper horticultural care. In particular, plants will not be replaced if the plant care guidelines, sent out with the order, have not been followed.
