With its vibrant and joyful citrus-like hue, ‘Vortex Orange Apricot’ is generously packed with petals resembling a spinning vortex, is a delight to behold and a favourite in floral bouquets for its enduring vase life. Asiatic ranunculus, half-hardy and requiring a dry, summer dormant period, are often used as annuals in the UK, adorning borders, hanging baskets, and containers during the early season.
Plant the talon-like corms in autumn or spring. Rehydrate the corms by soaking them in room temperature water for 1 hour, then plant 8cm deep and a similar distance apart with their 'fingers' facing downwards in full sun in moist but well-drained soil.
