White petals, each with a purple-blue blotch at its base, surround a cluster of dark stamens, and form large and exquisite star-shaped flowers that have a light scent. One for the connoisseur or collector, it does not come cheap, but it is really very special. - Garden care: In November or December plant bulbs 10cm deep in fertile, well-drained soil. After flowering deadhead and apply a balanced liquid fertiliser each week for the first month.
