Majestic sprays of lavender-pink coloured rounded umbels bob around on strong green stems from July to August. ‘Summer Beauty’ extends ‘Allium season’, is loved by pollinating insects, adds charm and form to summer borders and is an excellent cut flower. Unlike other varieties its leaves remain green throughout the season. It is deer and rabbit resistant. - Garden care: Add grit when grown in clay soils to improve drainage, cut back after flowering or merely remove dead flowerheads.
