A popular, fast-growing ornamental grass, 'Sky Rocket' is loved by garden designers, who use it to create movement and texture. A deciduous grass, it forms a graceful clump of slender, variegated leaves, which from midsummer, is topped with soft panicles of silvery pink flowers. This eye-catching ornamental grass is a must for the sensory garden, and it will look great when used to add charm and character to pots or border edges. - Garden care: Comb through the plant in winter to remove dead foliage. Feed with a general purpose fertiliser during the growing season and if necessary, lift and divide over-large clumps in early spring. A generous layer of mulch in autumn will help keep the roots warmer in winter. Prune back the previous year's growth each spring.
