'Cabaret Bright Red' is a soft, evergreen perennial with branching stems that are often cultivated as an annual. It produces an abundance of deep red, trumpet-shaped flowers with a yellow throat from late spring to the first frosts. The velvety texture of the blooms makes them perfect for cascading from hanging baskets, containers, and window boxes. For a modern and striking seasonal arrangement, consider combining them with plants in shades of purple and deep blue.
- Garden care: Plant out after all risk of frost has passed. Pinch out the growing tips to encourage bushier growth, and feed at regular intervals with a high-potash fertiliser throughout summer.
