Coreopsis Bloomsation Chameleon ('URIBL02') (PBR)
tickseed
This perennial dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring.
- Position: full sun or partial shade
- Soil: fertile, well-drained soil
- Rate of growth: average
- Flowering period: July to October
- Hardiness: semi hardy
Producing its daisy-like flowers over several months, this compact perennial will put on a great show - either at the front of the border or in a pot on the patio. Another noteworthy feature is the way the flowers change colour. Initially white, they take on a pinkish flush as they age, so it is possible to have both white and pink flowers on the plant at the same time. - Garden care: Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering and water well during hot, dry spells. Cut the faded flower-stems back down to ground level in autumn and compost.
