With exotic dangling blooms and trailing silver foliage, ‘Maculatus Yellow' bears smokey grey needle-like leaves arranged in whorls along delicate stems. Emerging yellow with orange tips shaped like parrot beaks, the parrot-beak-like flowers offer a tropical look in spring and early summer, ideal as a cascading plant for tropical themed baskets and containers.
Prefers a light, sunny, and free-draining soil with even moisture - too little or too much water can cause the foliage to droop. Pinch stem ends to promote branching. The plant will not tolerate cold temperatures close to freezing so will require protection under glass over the winter.
