An upright annual boasting small lance-shaped dark-green leaves and bountiful clusters of flowers, offering a delightful array of colour changing, pink and blush-white hues. These incredibly enduring and delicately scented blooms serve as fantastic pot fillers and cut flowers, flourishing throughout the summer into late autumn. While ‘Blushing Bride’ requires support due to its delicate stems, once planted en masse, this phlox will thrive independently, showcasing clusters of pure white petals that delicately transition from blush pink to a charming light red.
Garden care:
Seedlings should be potted up and grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed and they can be planted outside in a well-prepared bed. Pinch out the growing tips to encourage bushier growth, and feed at regular intervals throughout summer with a high-potash fertiliser. Taller plants may need supporting with brushwood stems in exposed positions.
