A neat, multi petalled coneflower with dusky-red ray florets surrounding a golden ring of stamens encircling a prominent ‘pincushion’ brown eye. Busy with bees and butterflies, ‘Enchanted Romance; will be loved by all nectar-seeking insects. Originally from the prairies of North America, this Rudbeckia is best grown as a magnificent half-hardy annual - pop these in pots on your patio for a striking late summer display! - Garden care: Pot up and grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed when they can be planted outside in a well-prepared bed. Pinching out the growing tips will encourage them to become bushier, and feed with a high potash fertiliser at regular intervals throughout the summer. Feed weekly with seaweed extract during the growing season. Deadhead faded flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.
