  • Flowering period: June to September

  • A captivating and distinctive low-growing perennial subshrub with alluring rosettes of thick, pointed leaves that reach a mature length of approximately 5cm (2"). When grown in light shade, the leaves exhibit a yellow-green hue, while in full sun, they transform into shades of rosy-gold to vibrant coppery red, adding a brilliant splash of colour to pots and containers. During the spring, round clusters of delicately scented white starry flowers, adorned with pink anthers, grace the plant.

  • Garden care:
Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil in full sun. Trim back after flowering to maintain shape and avoid spots in the garden likely to become waterlogged or poorly-drained during the cooler months.
