Pastel pink perfection for those looking to extend borders or cut flower displays well into autumn. Complementary blush and pink hues, edging into lilac, contrast with beautiful decorative forms carefully curated to bring a collection that works en masse in garden or vase.

In each collection you will receive one tuber of each of the following:

  • Dahlia 'Evanah': A medium-sized Decorative Dahlia, ‘Evanah’ presents a whimsical blend of lilac-pink and white petals, each bloom showcasing a unique petal count and a loose form, adding an enchanting informal touch to any border arrangement. Ideal for cutting, this ethereal beauty is perfect for planting in bold clusters or intermixing among perennial plants. Grows to 1.2m.

  • Dahlia 'Sweet Love': This tall, tuberous-rooted perennial boasts mid-green foliage and from mid-summer to the first frost, blooms with charming 10cm (4in) flowers. These ‘decorative’ group flowers present a captivating candy blush pink hue with cream centres and edges, creating a delightful display. Highly favoured among florists, 'Sweet Love' showcases rounded petals in soft pastel shades, ensuring a stunning and ethereal presence in gardens and floral arrangements alike. Grows to 1.2m.

  • Dahlia 'Kiev': A tuberous-rooted perennial ‘decorative' dahlia producing magnificent creamy white flowers, delicately flushed with pale pink that deepen as the blooms mature - notably, the petal edges are rolled under, creating a spiky effect that adds to its allure. 'Kiev' is an excellent choice for cut flowers, boasting giant flower heads, approximately 15-20cm (6-8in) in size, perfect stunning arrangements, but is a standout addition to the back of herbaceous borders, blending seamlessly with shades of pinks, purples, and lilacs for a harmonious colour palette. Grows to 90cm.

  • Garden care:
Dahlia tubers can be planted outside after frost, or started off in pots under glass in late winter to early spring. Plant them horizontally approximately 12cm deep, making sure the ‘eyes’ are uppermost. Allow enough room between each tuber so the plants can grow and spread to their full size without being overcrowded. While in growth, provide a high-nitrogen liquid feed each week in June, then a high-potash fertiliser each week from July to September. Stake with canes or brushwood if it becomes necessary. In mild areas, leave them in situ over winter, but protect the crown with a generous layer of dry mulch. In colder areas, carefully lift and clean the tubers once the first frosts have blackened the foliage and allow them to dry naturally indoors. Then place the dry tubers in a shallow tray, just covered with slightly moist potting compost, sand or vermiculite and store in a frost-free place until planting out again.
    • Humans/Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
