This stunning collection of award-winning tulips blooms in spring with vibrant double flowers in rich shades of orange, maroon, and deep black that make bold statements in the garden or as cut flowers.

In each collection you will receive the following:

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Orange Princess': An award-winning tulip which is a double form of Princess Irene. It has rich orange petals flamed garnet red that are yellowish at the base and often tipped with green. The inside petals have a brownish tint. These delightful, multi-coloured bowl-shaped flowers top sturdy stems in April. Grows to 35cm.

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Uncle Tom': Is the colour of 'Uncle Tom' mahogany, or maroon? Either way, this magnificent and fragrant peony-flowered tulip with sumptuous, plum-purple overtones is a stunner for late spring gardens or as a cut flower. Mix with rich golds and orange shades, or tuck it in with pale pinks for a dazzling display. Grows to 45cm.

  • 7 × Tulipa 'Black Hero': A stunning double-flowered tulip with deep maroon-black blooms with a satin sheen. This has been bred from the highly acclaimed tulip 'Queen of Night' and has the same distinctive midnight black flowers, but with many more petals. Plant it somewhere prominent so you can really enjoy the flowers when they appear in May. In the photos we have paired it with Allium 'Silver Spring'. Grows to 60cm.

  • Garden care:
From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
    • Humans: Harmful if eaten; skin allergen; Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
